Dependency "gobject-introspection-1.0" not found, #51
Description
Tryna install this on my Thinkpad X1 Gen 4 with Fedora 40 (workstation edition if that matters). I'm trying to follow the instructions given here under Fedora 28. I realize that is long ago, but seems to be the latest offered. Anyway I get this error:

Did not find CMake 'cmake'
Found CMake: NO
Run-time dependency gobject-introspection-1.0 found: NO (tried pkgconfig)

I'm not a developer and are out of my depth here, but would dearly love to get my fingerprint doodah working...
