Tutorial: How to use it on multi screen scenario

Multi-monitor setup

1. Install it as readme described.
2. run as admin and right click the tray icon, open "Edit This Script"

3. search(CTRL+F) for "dispwin" and edit the contents as follow:
   Run, dispwin.exe %path%, , Hide ---> Run, dispwin.exe -d 2 %path%, , Hide
Run, dispwin.exe -d 2 %clear%, , Hide ---> Run, dispwin.exe -d 2 %clear%, , Hide

In my case, I have 2 monitors in windows settings: monitor 1 as HDR main screen and monitor 2 as SDR side screen
if you have more than 2 screen, just try "-d 3", "-d 4" ,etc.

maybe we can add this into UI as an option? It's not complicated but really useful for multi screen users.

For multiple displays, there might be a better solution that doesn't require editing the script. Dispwin uses the GPU driver's "primary" display to apply its lut, and on Nvidia GPUs you can change the primary display by going to the Nvidia Control Panel → Set up multiple displays → Drag icons to match your display configuration → Right-click your main display and click "Make primary" and then Apply like this:

You might have to turn your monitors off and then on again for the change to take place. After that, the script should hopefully apply correctly to your main HDR display.

Note that this is different from the "Make this my main display" option in Windows' settings, that one doesn't affect dispwin.

Let me know if this works for you, I don't have a dual monitor setup, but I could test this by plugging in a second cable into my monitor.

I don't know how this would work on an AMD GPU though, I don't have one to test it on, but maybe there's a similar option in AMD's software.

That‘s an good option, thanks for the tips. 👍
However, I'm using the dGPU for primary monitor but iGPU for side screen output. So GPU control panel wouldn't help.

In case you are wondering, AMD software: Adrenalin Edition, launches the built-in MS Windows Display Settings when looking to set up a multi-display system.
Click on the “Arrange Displays” button in settings->monitor
