How to automatically close active fired alerts once the issue is resolved?

We have the option called automatically resolve alerts for Metric Alerts. Is there anything similar for automatically closing the activity log alerts once the issue is resolved?

Hi @rahul-subash I've liaised with the product group owners of these features and in short there is no ability for activity logs to automatically close these events as these need to be treated a little differently from metric alerts as activity log alerts are point in time alerts that if triggered need a response to acknowledge. I am advised there may be plans in future to address this but nothing confirmed yet.

Would love to understand your impact on your current situation of not being able to automatically resolve, my challenge back however, would be if you wish to automatically close the alert what is the value of the alert being triggered?

@rahul-subash I have raised this with the appropriate product group but this unfortunately in the short term will not be addressed.
