omi app battery drains quickly

hey folks, i am here to investigate the battery drain issue on the omi app. i'd really appreciate your feedback on how the omi app drains your phone battery so i can improve the quality of the omi app and help you use omi more effectively.

• your phone model + os version, e.g. iphone 17 pro max ios 26, google pixel 7a android 11
• omi app version, e.g. 1.0.579 (569) – you can find it by opening omi app > settings > scroll down to the bottom
• how much battery is drained when using omi? e.g. 15% over 4 hours
• (optional) your steps, e.g. open omi app, connect to device, keep it running for 4 hours.

Yeah it's been pretty bad lately. Sometimes it seems like it's not draining my battery and next thing I know I'm at 15% in battery saver mode. Could it have to do with syncing from the SD card to the phone? Let me know how I can help troubleshoot the issue.,

btw I see this on my desktop dashboard. These generic notifications could be involved in the battery drain?
