'Ello! Okay so posting this here so I don't forget. I do think there might be a problem with the battery indicator... Depletion rates vary wildly making it very difficult to predict remaining device life.

Test #1 with device: FF1AA2E6BB07

Notes: I left a video playing and the last recorded time was 7:40 am which is when I suspect it died.
Conditions: During this time, I did no offline syncs and I had less than 2 minutes of offline recording (temporary disconnects when I left my phone somewhere).
Documentation: Screenshots when I remembered to check, not on a set schedule.

My battery is showing as 100% which can't possibly be correct. I've had it on for the last four hours and wifi synced twice.

Update:

I've tried turning the device on and off, restarting the app, and my phone. I still see 100%.

Update:

It is now 7:30 pm. The battery has now dropped to 87%.

6.5 hours (1 pm to 7:30 pm HST) --> 13% battery consumption.

Did the recent firmware update include a substantial increase in battery life or is the indicator not reporting correctly?

Related to #4077 (BLE battery percentage). Community-confirmed by @HollyAnn808 with detailed depletion rate data showing wildly inconsistent readings. Firmware-level BLE battery reporting accuracy issue.
