Hi. Re part 2, each controller can only run one Tonex. I have thought about driving 2 but its a big challenging job and there many not be enough ram for it. |

Apologies, I have only just seen your reply!
Thank you for responding - as you may have detected, I am pretty much fumbling around with this, and your guidance is extremely helpfu! I will navigate the Airstep /CC messages and post any updates/answer sto my question when I get it working!
Thanks for the link to the commands! I have your amazing project on a 4.3 which works brilliantly, and will look at the Zero for the second pedal.
Once again, thank you for all your hard work. Fantastic project that is a genuine game-changer!

H, I have been getting some success with the Airstep Multi, however it seems like the field for custom bluetooth device in v2.0.2.2 doesn't get stored. Once the controller is rebooted the field is blank again (unless I am doing something wrong?) I disable the other 2 predefined controllers (mvave) snd enable custom bluetooth, adding in the name 'AIRSTEP', then save and reboot, but when I access the controller again via WIFI the name field is blank again. EDIT: Following further tests, I think it may be the case that the field is reset in the web browser each time you access it - the existing value is not read from the controller. The value IS stored on the controller, but each time you access the web GUI for the controller, the field doesn't get populated by the stored value, and is reset to unassigned/blank. Therefore so when you make a change to the controller from the web GUI and save, it clears the stored BT custom controller name on the controller back to unassigned/blank. Hope that makes sense. (4.3B and chrome on Mac OS) Thanks again for your great work! |

Hi community. Awesome project and greatly appreciated.
I've had a good trawl but cannot see any answers (probably my age!). I have 2 questions.
Part 1
Is it possble to use the Xsonic Airstep Multi to send midi messages to a TonexOneController ( I have the 4.3 model). If so, does anyone have a guide to the basic setup?
***Edit - Bluetooth connection established, by enabling custom device and using the name "AIRSTEP" in the dialogue box. Now I need to work out what I send and how...
Part 2
Here's the dream....
Ideally, I would love to use an Airstep Multi to control 2 separate Tonex one pedals via bluetooth. With each Tonex receiving on a different midi channels, over BT, via the TonexOneController (I have the 4.3" unit).
So each pedal would need to connect to the TonexOneController via a USB hub. I assume it would mean that one pedal would be directly controlled (the usual method) and the second would need to be some kind of midi passthrough?
***Edit - have since realised that's not quite how it works, it converts midi to the USB control, so I may be being a bit too ill-informed on the subject!
I guess the alternative route (assuming the Airstep will talk to the TonexOneController) would be to get a second TonexOneController unit and send the midi to the 2 separate controllers (each connected to a Tonex) as the Airstep can connect to 3 BT devices at once, apparently.
Thanks for any guidance and help!
