Change mount point for EFI partition for Grub | Step in desktop install that doesn't seem to be anywhere/mean anything?

Sorry if this is a more useless Issue to make, but I noticed the Arch Wiki says that /boot/efi is discouraged, despite it being historical.

would this be a noteworthy change or is there just a specific reason it's still used on Grub?

Step 7 refers to the Calamares selectable option that appears at the bottom when using the manual partition method.

Regarding the /efi and /boot/efi dilemma, i'm not 100% sure but the UAPI Group doc stating the ideal bootloader location was written 4 years ago and recently there was a systemd discussion about this. and it seems that it just went nowhere since not everyone agree about the specification

apologies since this kind of tangents, but does that mean I installed my CachyOS wrong then? my grub files seem to be outside my efi partition.

I 2nd this. With the newest desktop ISO this option (if that's what it was) is not present during manual partitioning.
