A solution to count visit by pages ?

Hello Arnaud,

I'm wondering if there is a technical solution to count the visit by page to display it.

I know we are on a static website, but perhaps there is a way to add this functionnality ?

I saw some solutions like hits for github or like on this blog https://ravichaganti.com/blog/adding-visitor-counter-to-statically-generated-web-pages/

Do you mind it's possible with Cecil ? I saw that depends on a third party.

I'm trying to answer myself ;-)

I have made a little Proof of concept to implement this functionnality and it works 🚀

It's very summary but I have a Rest API who receive {{ page.path }} variable. I upgrade the counter and return the json response with the new count.

A little piece of js in the template and voilà !

I have to improve this little POC.

Will you be interested by this solution ?
