I have installed VyManager and did connect several VyOS instances via api.

I am here:

https://vyman.XXXX.ai/network/interfaces and push New Interface

The only field I need to change content is the interface name:

I did change interface name and added an ip address.

By klicking on "Create Interface" WebUI comes back, without creating any interface:

On VyOS instance on the coresponding device I get in log (show log) an
Feb 08 12:06:00 vyos-http-api[9851]: INFO: - "POST /configure HTTP/1.0" 400 Bad Request

Am I able to figure out, what MyManager is sending?

I did figure it out:

VyOS ist running on an Proxmox-Server and the underlying interface (from the VM) has to been created, before creating an interface in VyManager.

May be, we cann figure out, that we are getting back an "400 Bad Request" and telling this to the user.

Not a bad idea. I could pull in physical interfaces that are not yet configured as a drop-down. That way it’s not a guessing game and should prevent his from happening.
