Changing Data Source On Layer With a Join Resets Display Field to Default #5

This is really an arcpy/arcobjects issue.
When changing the data source (either via replaceDataSource or findAndReplaceWorkspacePath) of a layer that has a join, the Display Field/Expression setting gets reset to the default value.
