To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Lower your volume because the produced noise is aggressive
  2. Play the provided m4a file with deadbeef

Expected behavior
The audio file plays correctly like with any other music player that supports this file format (e.g. VLC media player, mpv media player...)

Desktop

  • OS: Arch Linux
  • Kernel: 6.18.2-arch2-1
  • Deadbeef Version: 1.10.0

Additional context
When playing the file, the console output is spammed with this message :
FIXME: unimplemented sample size 32
