It seems like the server-side app.js is using an undefined consumer variable in the "resume" socket event listener.
Is this an oversight or a bug?

Ah, seems to be like this code is not even used. Is there a particular reason why resume is never called? IIRC, resuming the consumer is supposed to be necessary...

This issue is both an oversight and a bug. On the server side, consumers should be created with paused: true. Then, on the client side, they need to be explicitly resumed. This ensures proper synchronization and prevents unnecessary data transmission before the client is ready.
