Ethernet Gateway does not stay running

I've flashed the chip with a USBasp and can ping to board for about 30 seconds. Then responses stop?
Suggestions?

Hello! Do you have any type of controller (e. g. Home Assistant) connected to the gateway? The software automatically checks for connection then reboots the module to prevent connectivity issues. You can always deactivate this feature.

Just comment out
#define ENABLE_UPLINK_CHECK
to turn it off.
