Feature Request: Non-USB IP Addresses

I would imagine support for RoboRIO connection over a different network (ethernet/wireless) wouldn't be very difficult, just allowing for a custom IP address besides 172.22.11.2. If there could be an option to choose a different IP that would be great.

Hi, sorry for the delay - I missed this in my inbox. This is something we have planned, we're just in the process of updating our firmware update process to be more resilient such that we can implement this and not worry so much about flaky WiFi / ethernet connections for example. Hoping to have this in before 2026, with some extra changes for 2027 to support the new paradigms offered by the SystemCore
