esp32-2432s028r-ili9342 is connecting to MQTT but not discovered by OpenHasp integration

Here is what I have:

Board:
Cheap Yellow Display esp32-2432s028r-ili9342 with 2 USBs running
Firmware 0.7.0-rc13 042fe05
Build DateTime | Aug 26 2024 00:44:21 UTC

Integration:
OpenHasp 0.7.8
Installed via HACs

Home Assistant :
Home Assistant OS 2026.1.1

From MQTT Mosquito Broker (Installed as an Add-on) I can see the board successfully connects as in below:
2026-01-15 16:22:52: New client connected from 192.168.15.90:58427 as remotecontrol_32fb10 (p2, c0, k15, u'rafael2').

Note: I have a second board sunton-4827s043c_16MB also running on 0.7.0-rc13 042fe05 and that one works. The board is a 43" screen.

I fixed my own problem after noticing that the device was set as ignored in the list. So while following this tip, it worked: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/how-do-you-un-ignore-a-device/526641
