RPGUNIT and QDEVTOOLS library list check and profiles in Code for IBMi

Hello, I'm using Code for I Profiles to choose my library list.

Is it possible to use it in the running tests?

@novy400 Yes, you can use profiles. Just make sure that you have RPGUNIT.LIB/QDEVTOOLS.LIB saved on the profile itself and you are switched to it.

yes it works but I have another problem with TGTCCSID(*SRC) is it possible to change it to TGTCCSID(*JOB) ??

perhaps in testing.json ? thanks for advance ...

@novy400 In the testing.json, you can specify the tgtCcsid as you did (1-65535) or use *SRC/*JOB. In the current extension, you will likely see this warning, but it should still work with it.

In the next release of the extension, this warning will go away:

However, the issue I believe you are encountering is due to a bug I also ran into in the latest version of RPGUnit (tools-400/irpgunit#19). I assume you are running with v5.1.0b006? The TGTCCSID parameter seemed to no longer be included in the COMPILEOPT. The maintainer of RPGUnit said he is out on vacation, but the issue will be resolved soon. In the meantime, you can try deleting the library and installing v5.1.0b005. Or modify the Product Library setting to RPGUNIT1 for example to have a different version installed.

i've changed the "tgtCcsid": "*JOB" but you're right it seems to affect CVTCCSID(*JOB) but not the tgtccsid on compile options .
I'm going to clone your repo and test with it perhaps I have an issue on my configuration.
I hope I can do it today 😉

@novy400 I just published a new version of the extension (v1.1.0) which also requires a new version of the RPGLE extension (v0.31.0). It primarily has a bunch of improvements to test stub generation documented here, but it will also get rid of that Incorrect type. Expected "number" warning.

RPGUnit also put out a new release (v5.1.0b007) that should address your issue with using *JOB. I tested it on my end and it is working as expected now. Can you give these new releases a try?

Hi! I tested this morning after coming back from holidays - it works perfectly! Thanks for your excellent and useful work. I'm going to integrate it into my existing test suite and will keep you informed of the progress.
