Feature request: Abstraction in the editor

I find when charting that most of my time making effects is just copying stuff I already made to different timestamps.

Lets say I wanted to have an effect in my chart where the playfield grows for 1 beat and then shrinks back down. If I wanted to replicate that effect a couple beats later, i'd have to copy and paste both of those commands, but if I could make a custom command where it does both (or any other number of things), it would be far more efficient.

UI-wise, I think there could be groups like this, where the timestamps dont indicate the absolute position of the effects in time but their position relative to where you place the custom command.

Every time I go to chart effects I just wish this, or at least a group copy paste for effects was a thing. I also believe it might be good for optimization because overall it would mean less overall commands in ffx files

So you're essentially asking for custom reusable prefabs?
You got my vote, especially if it also allows global ones that can be reused on multiple maps.
