CSS animations on page for opening sidebars

Could be cool to provide some page animations for opening sidebars.

• Darken website (CSS: filter: brightness()).
• Blur (CSS: filter: blur()).
• Lower contrast (CSS: filter: contrast()).
• Overlay

Filters don't always work properly with the CSS animation. Investigation needed.
