I, and other people would really like it if you could make it work with nixos, it should be a few files, maybe a bit of configuration, I have a hard time reading other peoples code and get a understanding as to what their trying to do, but given you know your own codebase I think you could try and make a shell file or a flake or a input that people on Nixos could use. In fact the referal here was from a post of someone who uses nixos.
