Feature: Option for dropdown menus to require a click to appear

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When scrolling and my mouse is over the page, it will pass over options such as "More" on a post. This will then open the dropdown menu, blocking content. If I happen to scroll and click something, the dropdown will appear and instead of clicking the thing I wanted, I click some random option in the dropdown.

Also on mobile when scrolling, the same thing happens, but the dropdown stays concealing content until I tap elsewhere.

Describe the solution you'd like
An option in the sidebar to have dropdown menus only appear when clicked. This is better UX by default and how dropdowns initially behaved on the internet, but I think just an option to toggle this on is probably preferable now with how people expect things to work.
