updating stream parameters

Hi,
In older cameras we were able to update stream parameters using PUT method posting an xml with new configuration. Since introduction of the new firmware, and removal of "enable CGI" tick-box from camera control panel, the cameras don't accept this type of communication. Is there a way to use this API to update stream settings (resolution, bitrate, fps, codec)?

Did you manage to create or stream settings into the camera?
Did you find any HIkvision API?

Unfortunately I don't have a camera with the new api right now and I can't help you. If someone investigates this problem, then I would be very grateful.

Is it ISAPI that i have to use ?
