Gittyup 2.0 does not work in Virtualbox VM

Hello,
I have two Virtualbox VMs running my programming environments (Linux and Windows). The respective project directories are passed through to the VMs via shared folders with directories on the host system (Debian 13). Until now, I have been using Gittyup 1.4.0. When I tried Gittyup 2.0, no Git repositories were recognized under the Linux VM. Only after copying the projects to the local file system of the VM was I able to reopen the repositories with Gittyup 2.0. However, this is very cumbersome. Unfortunately, Gittyup 2.0 is not available for Windows. Is this problem known under Linux? Is there already a solution for it?

There are some hiccups in the release for sure but I think you guys need to have a bit of patience. The changes in background library versions like the UI toolkit are significant and not all the kinks are worked out on all platforms yet, but here is the thing: sticking with the old versions is completely untenable because those toolkit versions will soon not be available at all on many Linux distros. These changes are not to kill the project but to revive it so it can keep going.
