Custom Text for Overlay #36

Feature Request:
Ability to set custom text on overlay from file. Use case: I want to display system temps or average system temps over time. Short of including the ability to run shell commands from within slide, reading text from a file sounds like a simpler solution.
Ability to change the time format from 24h to 12h. Developers choice regarding AM/PM, but if it is 6:00 I would hope I would know whether it is 6am or 6pm without having it written ;)
I didn't see in the code where specifically the text gets created so I am not sure how to help with this. Thanks in advance, and thank you for all you have done so far! Fantastic app.
