[Bug] Confusing: grid size symbols - Replace with arrows

• This issue contains only one bug.

Describe the bug

When I change the grid size, I did not understand what the symbols refer to. I asked someone else, too and they could not tell me clearly. I am still not sure. Which number is rows and which is columns?

Expected Behavior

What I would like is arrows instead of the || and = bars:
↕ and ↔
That would be clear in which direction I resize.
