Release cycle

Officially, we release every 2 months. In the past, we in fact did 5 releases per year to account for summer break and xmas break. Should we decide on that officially or discuss "spontaneously" when to release?
Regular cycles could be:

1. first of feb, apr, june, sep and nov or
   2. first of mar, may, july, oct, dec ☑️

At today's DEV meeting we discussed and decided for option 2.
