Volume is Comparably Low in Android 13

Question / Problem

Playback volume is low even on max audio

Summary

I used the version 13 of the library for my app and played the same song in my app and youtube app on 2 devices one with android 11 and one with android 13.
In android 11, the output seems same in both apps.
But in Android 13 i felt like a volume drop of 35-45% in my app

Library Version used

Version 13.0.0

What I've tried

I tried to measure the output sound using some free online volume meters and my assumption was right. there was around 30-40db difference i max and avg output rate.

I also found out that there were some restrictions on output audio starting from android 12 (source: ChatGPT )

FYI i have checked your previous threads
The video sound gets very soft (#177 )
Volume is comparatively low than existing YouTube player for Live Videos(#79)

but those seem too old and may not be relevant to current version

Hi, I have never encountered this issue. It could just be that the difference you noticed is due to the speakers being different on the two devices.

Ok, then i don't know. You could try using the iframe player on some website and see if that works fine
