GTK 3 upgrade?

Hi, I've been working on upgrading Basilisk and SheepShaver to GTK 3, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in using it for your Flatpak release. Apart from being on a currently supported toolkit, the main advantages would be the improved file chooser, better theming, and support for Wayland. I'm also working on implementing GtkFileChooserNative, which gives access to the document portal. This could potentially allow you to enable Flatpak's sandbox feature. The interface being defined in XML should make it a lot easier to add new items to the settings, too.
My work-in-progress fork is here, so feel free to check it out and see if you can make use of it. Also please let me know if you have any problems, or if there's anything I should add.

I second this.

I use the Flatpak and I was actually just looking for the most appropriate place to file a "Can we at least upgrade to the GTK+ 2.x file chooser, please?" bug report.

That GTK+ 1.2.x file chooser is very inconvenient.

@ssokolow The GTK3 version has now been merged to kanjitalk755's fork if you want to try it out. I don't think the Flatpak version has been updated in a while though.
