Unable to switch from one endpoint to another

While trying to switch from one VPN endpoint to another, you're unable to have a successful connection unless you are restarting the daemon.

We were able to reproduce the issue consistently:
When the UI thinks we are connected to a node, and we try to connect again, the client crash with
ioctl: device or resource busy

We can "connect" again (i.e. no crash) if we first disconnect on the UI.

P.S. This was tested on both linux and WSL, where WSL was not being rerouted, but the UI thinks the VPN is connected. (If the tun interface exists, it's consider connected but it's not ping the actual connection. This is a different issue.)
