Show incremental search disappers when trying to activate it in a new tab

Hi , in my project i got a custom tab page with a scintilla control on it, the issue am facing is once my tab is created in runtime when i use the shortcut to call the incremental search it appears for a split second and then disappears immediately

Kindly advise on how to fix this

To be honest, you are better off looking at the desjarlais version instead. It has been updated to v5 and I will most likely migrate to that version too and support it instead.

i checked it out but what is the difference, they look pretty identical to me
