Return to same place when editing in geographic cleaning tool

Our collection has >1000 items with a state and locality, but no county. It wouldn't take long for me to whip through the biggest bunch of them -- missing Michigan counties as this is our home state. However, the Michigan section I'd be working in is halfway or so down the page of problems, and I can only correct one mismatch at a time. I click on "Assign County" and then I get returned to the top of the page and have to scroll back down again. It would be nifty if it returned roughly to the place I left off. Searching again for "Michigan", clicking on the pencil to do individual or batch edits is also rather tedious.
