Auto Orientation not working in Cura 5.10.0-beta.1

1. Selected the Auto Orientation under the Extensions menu
2. Selected either orientation option
3. My object does not change orientation

Nothing

Expected results

This very helpful extension used to work under many different Cura versions. It stopped working with the new 5.10.0-beta.1 version.

Thanks for the report.
Many authors of plugins (Extensions) have taken to "blocking" their extensions for new Cura versions until they have a chance to check compatibility. This may be why it doesn't work for an "unofficial" release.

I can also comfirm this is an issue in the latest 5.10.0. Either option (fast or slow one) says its complete instantaneously and nothing has changed. Yet it works in 5.9.0.

There is a fix in the plugin's github from many months ago: nallath/CuraOrientationPlugin@22addb3 -- I am not sure why this is not making it into the Cura marketplace. Simply applying this fix in your local Cura install fixes the problem.
