Do you provide compiled installers for Mac?

Love this IPTV player, so much better than anything else around. I've recently moved to Mac but I only see downloads for Windows?

Good one. I will try to create downloads for MacOS as well. What kind of file extensions are normally supported for MacOS as a replacement for .exe?

I looked into it. Can you rename the provided .exe file to .app? And check if you are able to open that up correctly.

No luck renaming the .exe, it gives me this error:

Thanks for checking! I will look into it if it is possible to create a MacOS build using Pyinstaller. In the mean time you can run the player via python directly. Just call the main python file "IPTV M3U_Plus PLAYER by MY-1.py" and it will run the iptv player.

In order to run on a Mac ( Apple Silicon chip Tahoe 26 ) I made some modification on the script.

• first open with Pycharm and install / update all interpreter request
• on Play_Item add :
  if is_mac
  os.system(f"open {self.external_player_command} --args {url} ")
  With Automator app make a simple shell script in order to open a vpn ( for example NordVPN ) and then open the python script.
  Run like a charm on M2 Mac Book Air ( IINA, VLC, SMPlayer all video player works great)
