Changing ASI cameras

I'm currently running an ASI678MC on a Pi4b indi-server. I want to swap in an ASI676MC. Do I have to run setup again or will the current ASI driver recognize the new camera?

As long as your version of indilib is v2.0.7 or greater, you should be able to use the 676.

Only the latest version of indilib v2.1.7 has camera hot plug support, so you probably just need to bounce the indiserver to detect the new camera.

# stop indi-allsky
systemctl --user stop indi-allsky

# unplug camera, connect new camera
# restart indiserver
systemctl --user restart indiserver

# restart capture
systemctl --user start indi-allsky

Or you can just yank the camera, plug the new one, and reboot :-)
