if anyone has time to entertain some dumb rookie questions

I'm following the new agentic tools coming on the market very closely and with great excitement.

Here's what I've been really struggling to find to date:

I'm one of those strange people that has managed to find use for a few hundred custom assistant configurations.

Who knows how I got here, but they've all been quite the adventure.

I have my Terrible Movie Recommendation bot, my bot that rewrites email threads as screenplays, and of course my Shakespearean email bot. I also have an SEO bot and bots for all kinds of boring professional things. But you get the idea.

The vast majority of agent frameworks to date, I've found, either do one of two things: They're orchrestration/management/studio frameworks which are great for building configs but which don't really give you a frontend to use (or, at best, you get a preview type environment). Or they're great frontends that don't do orchestration and tooling quite as well.

Given the fact that I have a lot of agents I need something that makes getting basic LLM + RAG and/or API configs going pretty easy and something that I can actually use day to day to derive value from .... the agents.

I got the impression that this was a code only framework, but when I dug into the docs a little bit, I saw some promising signs of UI.

I'm still a little bit confused as to whether this is intended for local deployment or whether it can live on a VPS. But if anyone is pursuing similar use cases, or this is something that is potentially suitable, please let me know.

Hey @danielrosehill! We do have a playground UI https://docs.agno.com/get-started/playground but it's usually used for testing out your application. We are working on an agent app template that will have an already set up project and that you can deploy to your choice of cloud in a few simple steps. We should be releasing it soon, so lookout for them!
