Support for keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl-C/V/W) in the shell window

It seems that keyboard shortcuts for Copy/Paste (Ctrl-C/V) don't work in the attached pod terminal window. Is this by intention? Or is this a security feature? 

Also, it would be very great to have Ctrl-W as the shortcut to close such a terminal.
