Devices not auto-detected despite existing in the library #4249

Hi, I just started to use this wonderful integration. A couple of devices got auto-detected, however some are not detected. Any idea why this would happen? Example device that is not detected automatically
I can see 4 records for this device in the device library, so it should work? Thank you |

Hi, the usual reason is that the device records must match exactly, different integrations and model variations usually creep in. Can you go and manually add the device and check the second screen where the device summary is displayed, if it's what is in the library then can you post the full details for the devices and I'll investigate. |

Hi @andrew-codechimp cool I think I missed this release by a couple of minutes. Installed it and restarted HA. Should the "fix" detect things automatically now or can I re-trigger the detection somehow? As of now, still at least this device is not showing up. Details you requested: Name: XXX |

Not detected unfortunately. Pasted details above. I can also see two identical entries in the library (out of total 4) where manufacturer and model exactly match the details from my device, not sure if that's part of the issue though. |

Re-load of extension was enough, now the devices popped up 👍 Thanks for looking into it quickly! |

I think that's the problem. There's two exact duplicates which shouldn't have existed, unsure how they crept in.
I have removed one of those and updated the library. A restart of HA will pull the new library immediately and fingers crossed get the device found.
