Hi, the default threshold is 10% unless you've changed the global or device manually. With a default setup as you've described the battery plus sensor is responsible for watching the source battery and both passing it to the low sensor and firing the event. You may want to try what I describe here if you want to experiment with event automations. https://community.home-assistant.io/t/custom-component-battery-notes/613821/253?u=codechimp |

I was trying to diagnose why the
battery_notes_battery_thresholdevent was not being fired. Looking at several of my entities, they havebattery_plussensors of < 20%, however thebattery_plus_lowsensor is still showing as normal. Both of these sensors were created by the integration and I have not used any templating or changed thresholds.When/how is the battery_plus_low sensor updated? Is the
battery_notes_battery_thresholdfired based on the_lowsensor or the_plussensor?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
