  • Use the quest item Ruby Beacon of the Dragon Queen, says "You're in the wrong zone".
  • If you want to use the dragon go to GM on and use the item again.
  • Close by there's a giant Thiassi the Lightning Bringer kill it and kill Grand Necrolord Antiok which will come down after killing the giant.
  • Currently plays "Behold! The Scythe of Antiok!" and it should be "You think you've won, mortal? Face the unbridled power of Antiok!" (as he's falling from the giant)
  • Than his RP should say "Behold! The Scythe of Antiok!" while kicking you out of the dragon.
  • The moment you're kicked out of the dragon is when Antiok should loose his shield (shrould lightning), currently (since the RP is faster than it should) he will attack you with few seconds before you can do any damage.
  • Raid type of notification (in yellow) should appear on the top of the screen when the Antiok is killed because the sycthe is on the ground, it doesn't currently.

Current Behaviour

The Ruby Beacon of the Dragon Queen is not usable in the Wicked Coil sub zone, despite its tooltip.

Upon killing Thiassi the Lightning Bringer, Grand Necrolord Antiok's RP doesn't play out properly, which mainly results in his immunity bubble staying on him for several seconds as he begins attacking you, making this quest extremely difficult for most classes to complete.

Expected Blizzlike Behaviour

The Ruby Beacon of the Dragon Queen should be usable in the Wicked Coil sub zone, per its tooltip.

Upon killing Thiassi the Lightning Bringer, the Grand Necrolord Antiok should play out the following RP:

  • yell: You think you've won, mortal? Face the unbridled power of Antiok!
  • yell: Behold! The Scythe of Antiok!
  • [Grand Necrolord Antiok casts Flesh Harvest on your Wyrmrest Vanquisher, instantly killing it]
  • [Grand Necrolord Antiok loses his Shroud of Lightning immunity buff and becomes attackable/begins attacking]

Additionally, when Grand Necrolord Antiok dies "The Scythe of Antiok drops to the ground!" should appear as one of those raid warning style messages.

I'd rather look at a live version of WoW for a source, but there's not very many good videos of this quest from actual WotLK or Classic (some videos make it look like the part of the RP that kills your dragon is broken on classic too?) and this one shows everything working the best in a single video anyway.
