Ability to use binary sensor as pulse counter meter

Would it be possible to add energy monitoring when binary sensor is set to on then add predefined wattage to daily consumption? I have some impulse energy monitors which "blink" every 1 watt which are read via kincony a16 with esphome. Right now I have to use automation which increments counter on "blink" and then template sensor which converts counter to total kilowatts, after that home assistant energy dashboard can use that to monitor consumption. Thanks

You should be able to create daily energy sensor: https://docs.powercalc.nl/sensor-types/daily-energy/

Then use the action in an automation you setup to increase the energy sensor with a given amount for each pulse.
Use the binary sensor as a trigger.
