Description
What were you trying to do?
I am a brand new user of Cork, though a long-time user of Homebrew, and when I first installed Cork I went through and had Cork adopt all adoptable apps.
I expected that this process would result in Cork showing zero adoptable apps.
What was the problem?
The adoption process yielded a warning for each app, saying Warning: Not upgrading [appname], the latest version is already installed, and the list of adoptable apps remained the same as before. I have tried this multiple times, each time to the same effect.
Running brew list in the Terminal shows that the apps Cork claims can be adopted have already been successfully adopted by Homebrew, and even manually removing and reinstalling these apps does not seem to make a difference.
So it would seem that there is something wrong with how Cork is generating the list of adoptable apps.
Note that I am using macOS Tahoe 26.2, and I have only ever used Cork on macOS 26, so it's possible this behavior is somehow Tahoe-specific.
Error logs
No logs generated in Console.app.
However, each app adoption prints the Terminal output:
Warning: Not upgrading [appname], the latest version is already installed
Which is also the output when running:
brew install [appname] --adoptApp Version
1.7.3 (109)
