How do multiple monitors work?

say for example, i want to have a second small display in my pc to show the performance, or just to show an image or something, how would i configure that with these dotfiles? or if i just wanted a normal second monitor?

Hi, do you use the built-in lock feature of the caelestia-shell? My monitor setup looks the same as yours (one horizontal one vertical), and I am wondering how to only display the lock screen only on one monitor instead of on both. I am asking because the lock screen on my vertical monitor (the right-hand side monitor in your case) looks distorted and I haven't found a fix yet :(

find Item{} block, and add this underneath "id: lockContent":
visible: root.screen.name === "DP-5" // in my case
You can determine name of your monitor with "hyprctl monitors".

After you apply the setting, it might mess up you wallpapers for a moment, but it goes away after you restart quickshell.
