Description
When a file is opened without the (V) addendum to the file name the stack splitter will trim off the remaining characters without regard for whether it is necessary. For example, consider a file named "202_001" that was saved as a native TIF, instead of an OME-TIFF. When it is opened by the stack splitter it will be opened as "202_001.tif" instead of "201_001(V).tif". When this file is processed by the stack splitter it will remove the "_001.tif" since the (V) is not present. This results in file outputs without the proper sequence information.
