Online state channel in Bridge Thing #25

When you next have time to play around, would it be possible to add an Online state channel to the Bridge.
I've had a couple of instances where people have unplugged the USB cable and VelServ has closed.
Jeroen is looking into how to restart VelServ when the USB device is reconnected.
