Plex Watchlist Limit to 20 items

Hi, I don’t know if it’s a bug, a setting issue or a limitation. I’m trying a one-way sync only of plex watchlist → trakt watchlist but it only fetches the last 20 items from my plex watchlist, if I add more also doesn’t append, there is always only 20 items being processed.

My idea was to have a two-way sync, but without fully processing my plex watchlist I’m concerned it won’t work properly

I’m not sure what’s in your watchlist, but im afraid this isn’t a CrossWatch bug, it’s the new Trakt Free limits.
Trakt Free caps your watchlist at 100 items. And “item” means anything you add:

• movies
• shows
• seasons
• episodes

Example: if you add 5 seasons × 10 episodes (as episodes), that’s 50 items. etc etc

Basically you have a couple of options:

• only add movies in your watchlist (still max 100 movies)
• upgrade from Trakt Free to Trakt VIP
• stop using TRAKT and use SIMKL

Trakt Free users limitations (2025)

• 100 personal notes are available to all Trakt users. Add notes to your list items, activities, and media items!
• Favorites list item limit increased for everyone. Instead of 50 items, your favorites list now can have up to 100 items.
• Reduced List and Item Limits: Free users will see a reduction to 2 personal lists up to 100 items.
• Watchlist and Collection Limits: Free users are now limited to 100 items in their watchlists and collections, down from previous limits.

I have 40 items, all movies, and I’m not having a problem with trakt, more with plex, if i do the opposite trakt → plex, it syncs more than 20 items. But when it read plex only reads 20 items

Tried with SIMKL, the same it only reads 20 items from my plex watchlist

Ah i see it now.. you're on the free tier of CrossWatch thats limited to 20 items... Im just joking.... you're absolutly right. Its a bug!

Download the new v0.2.17 where it should be fixed now. Let me know how it goes after using v0.2.17

Oh, and before i forget.. remove the items in /config/.cw_state/ or use maintenance -> Clear state.
Be sure that your pairs are in ONE-WAY after that... so start with Plex -> Trakt and built it up..
