CrossWatch - v0.7.0 (Pre-release notice) - READ THIS BEFORE UPGRADING

The new v0.7.0 will be released upcoming week.

Please don’t upgrade to v0.7.0 and hit “Sync” right away.
This release contains major internal changes (the orchestrator and provider modules are now more clearly separated, and the caching system was redesigned).

Mandatory after updating (only if you have Sync Pairs)

If you have one or more Sync Pairs configured, you must run:

Settings - Maintenance Tools - Clean everything

Do this before your first sync (or immediately after updating, before syncing).
Skipping this can lead to much shit as older cache/state files are not compatible with the new layout.
There are some migration scripts included, but rather we dont want to use these.

If you have no Sync Pairs configured: you can ignore this step.

Expect BUGS

Because the changes in v0.7.0 are big, expect new bugs in this release

If you don’t want that risk yet, you can stay on v0.6.4 for now.

Support note (read this part twice)

I can’t support both v0.6.4 and v0.7.x in parallel.

• If you’re on v0.6.4 and it works for you: totally fine, stay there.
• If you’re on v0.6.4 and you hit issues: I will most likely ask you to upgrade to v0.7.x first before I can troubleshoot.
• Bug fixes and improvements will focus on v0.7.x going forward.

In other words: v0.6.4 is “use at your own risk” from this point on, not because I’m trying to be difficult, but i just dont have time to maintain two separate versions.
