Change TX, RX

Hello!  Im trying to connect my rego600 pump to wifi and then to Openhab with this code.

i sucessfully flashed it to a esp8266 (nodeMCU 8266 12-F)

This board has a usb connection on, and i think that it comunicate over the TX,RX ports for usb.

Can i change this ports somehow  or do you think it will work anyway ?
