This is not a CSchneegans bug or issue. This is only happening to me... BooHooHoo...

My AutoUnattended is based on MemsTechTips / UnattendedWinstall Which is in turn base on a CSchneegans output.
UnlockStartLayout.vbs = untouched
UnlockStartLayout.xml = untouched
Specialize.ps1 = untouched

But when it gets to:

Register-ScheduledTask -TaskName 'UnlockStartLayout' -Xml $( Get-Content -LiteralPath 'C:\Windows\Setup\Scripts\UnlockStartLayout.xml' -Raw );

It conks out :

Why would it do that. There is nothing wrong with the code.

There is a well-formedness violation in the document you have referenced, in line 43:

<component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" ...>

This may very well make the XML parser misbehave and produce errors elsewhere during the setup process.
