Reduce weight of the pages #19
Description
According to Google's website tester there are a few points we could use to improve the performance of our website. Apparently the main items are:
- Optimizing images
- Disabling blocking javascript
I will take a look at both of those, while trying to keep the hosting simple.
It won't be possible to minimize the images at build time as long as we use github pages, as we cannot write our own plugins.
