Magic links cannot be added to the iOS homescreen

Describe the solution you'd like
When opening a Magic link in a browser, the url changes to e.g. ?startDate=2026-01-26. So adding it as a shortcut to the homescreen always makes it open that specific day instead of a 'live' page. Manually changing a link on the homescreen isn't possible on iOS.

Maybe add a manifest.json when visiting a magic link so the original URL can be used in a bookmark

Describe alternatives you've considered
The only thing I could think of is enabled flight-mode (which stops the redirect), then opening the link in Safari and add it to the homescreen.
