Port the site into a modern frontend JS library

The website is created in AngularJS which is now starting to show it's age.
It would be nice if the website can be ported to a newer frontend JS library like React or Vue.js and
also, drop the jQuery dependency altogether.
This will make it easier for new frontend developers to contribute and also a bit lighter too.

I suggest Vue.js 3.0, that I learned in our past meetup comes out pretty soon!

It can be a good project for someone! There's only two pages, with almost the same layout!

It could be a Hacksession as well with open participation for everyone (as proposed during the last meetup)!

Sure @daknob ! However, it might be a "HackSession series" as requirements of a new DevStaff website have been increased!
We split into different parts for the structure, the UI, and the actual implementation!
So, just stay tuned!

Quick update on this, the project is currently re-written in React using Next.js.
